This is a key Career Opportunity that comes with an excellent compensation and benefits program. The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for New Business Development as it relates to Design, Build and Furniture Solutions and all of its related products and services.
Reporting directly to the Director, this is a key expanding growth position. The individual should have a business mind set and be responsible for growing market share by achieving sales objectives, developing new customer relationships, and maintaining and nurturing current customers. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively for lead development with other divisions of the company, management, other sales representatives, marketing, and with existing customers to build profitability and loyalty with new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
a. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for developing business opportunities with Mid-Size companies, 2500-15,000 Square feet in space.
b. The Individual is responsible for calling on targeted end users, architects and general contractors to ensure Interiors is spec’d into projects.
c. This Individual will be calling on C-Level decision makers using consultative Solution Selling Sales techniques.
d. The Account Executive will be responsible for individual revenue and gross profit goals.
e. Excellent communication, presentation skills with large or small groups.
f. Professional and personal goal oriented for career success.
g. Will attend business networking events when appropriate.
h. Represent NewSpace at Business and Professional functions.
Position Background Requirements:
Education, Training, and Experience
The Commercial Account Executive is required to have education/training in the following areas:
· A minimum of a four-year degree or equivalent work experience
· Experience in Furniture, Building Supplies, Design or related Industries, selling B2B
· Will have received sales training for sales in the commercial space.
· Documented success of annual quota/revenue achievement
· Experience calling on, networking with commercial architects and general contractors
